CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: DISCOVER THE HIDDEN TREASURES OF MOLDOVA               

Study visit to Czech Republic for students from the Republic of Moldova

The Delegation of the European Union to Moldova announces the 2nd edition of study visits to an EU country, for Moldovan students interested in learning in detail about the EU – Moldova Association Agreement, with focus on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), as well as the experience of EU member states of their approximation to EU.

Eligibility:

  • Open to Moldovan citizens, students, aged between 18-30 years old;

 

The application dossier content:

  • Photos & brief description of a rural tourism destination or point of attraction:

×          Pictures submitted by applicants should describe the attractiveness for the potential tourists of a community / region of Moldova, i.e. architectural monuments, local traditions, landscapes etc.

×          Description: a brief essay in Romanian / Russian or English on the topic: Hidden treasures of {NAME OF THE REGION / PLACE WHERE ARE LOCATED THE OBJECTIVES REFFLECTED BY PICTURES} that will refer to pictures applied (1 page A4, shrift Calibri, 12);

  • Dossier will be submitted in electronic format;
  • CV written in Europass format  (It is compulsory to include a valid phone number & email)

 

Criteria of evaluation: creative, qualitative pictures (colour, size 1-2 MB, min. 5 pictures reflecting the same touristic destination), please use download links for transfer files; the uniqueness of the reflected point of attraction, originality of the pictures and, only own pictures will be considered.

 

Applicants with relevant dossier will be invited for training sessions “Modern techniques of rural tourism promotion, in the context of DCFTA”. Candidates are asked to submit their application to the address: youth@bdr.md


Deadline for submission of applications: October 12, 2016.

 

Selected applicants will benefit of thematic sessions on:

  • DCFTA: challenges & opportunities for Moldova;
  • Modern techniques of rural tourism promotion & how to develop a strategy to promote tourism potential in EU.
  • Working language: Romanian, English.

 

Final stage: Study visit to Czech Republic  

  • All participants will participate in an open competition in order to be selected beneficiaries of study visit to Czech Republic;
  • For the contest, participants will deliver an oral presentation of their vision on strategy dedicated to rural touristic potential promotion in Moldova and EU (based on a Power Point or other visual supporting material) - max. 7 min.
  • The winners will be selected by a joint jury: EUD representative, an expert in tourism, partners’ representatives, etc.

 

Benefits:  Transport and accommodation expenses will be covered. There is NO participation fee.
