Required documents

1. CV (Curriculum Vitae)
2. Learning Agreement before starting the mobility period (filled in with information on the student and the home university, in the section Before the mobility – Table A and signed by the student and the home university (in the section Commitment)
3. Copy of Passport
4. Spanish or English Language Certificate (for the language of instruction of the respective study programme in the host university); internationally recognized certificates will be preferred to those issued by universities or other language centres
5. Motivation letter
6. Copy of the candidate’s identity card;
7. Transcript of records issued by the home institution proving that students have passed successfully at least 2 semester of their studies;
8. Certificate from the home university confirming that the candidate is a student there;
9. Other relevant documents (certificates of participation in different competitions, certificates of participation in another mobility programmes, etc.);

Application Procedure

The International Office of the University of Almería will contact you by e-mail providing you with a password in order to make your application on-line through the University web site.

Eligibility criteria

1. Students at the undergraduate level;
2. Students who have successfully completed 2 semesters from their bachelor degree;
3. Students who study in one (or more) of the following fields: Agriculture; Economics; Accounting and taxation; Finance Banking; Insurance; Management and Administration; Marketing and Advertising; Modern Languages (English and Spanish).
4. Students with good academic record;
5. Students who are highly motivated.

Language Requirements

Exchange students are expected to demonstrate English/Spanish proficiency corresponding to at least B1 level of the Common European Language Framework of Reference.

Selection Process

The home university will provide a pre-selection of candidates according to the following criteria:

1. Average grade, the consistency of the proposed activities with the student’s university degree.
2. Language skills
3. Any other information indicated by the student in the application (other learning experiences, specific academic interest, vulnerable socio-economic situation, etc.)

Final selection

Final selection will be done by the International Cooperation Office at University of ALMERIA.
